Yes, I know, what a crazy retro layout you're all gazing upon. I'm rather fond of it, actually.

It's been so long since I've updated any sort of 'blog'.
Ive sadly caved and gotten a Myspace. It's not quite as awful as I thought. Im not horribly addicted to it either. I have well under 100 friends, and don't need to comment/have people comment my pictures a thousand times to validate myself.

In any case, I've already settled in from school. Im in my pajamas, and its fantastic. Sadly, I'll be working a lot more and these quiet days to myself will be long gone. It's stressful working/schooling. My school doesn't have OJT (on the job training) and we get out at 3pm. From there, it's a mad-dash home, change, and then rush out the door to work until 10.
*sigh*
The Holidays are coming up, which means crazy people at the store. I work at Target. It's flexible hours and it pays. It's not fantastic, but I have to do it. I guess why it sucks so much is because I have to work to help pay my end of things. Theres a difference between the need to work and the 'we'll just see how this goes'. Yet, I should stop whinning. I am much better off than a bazillion people in the world.
It's just ... at my school ... the atmosphere is very different. They are rich and spoiled and their mommies and daddies cater to their hearts content. Oy. It's ok though, I'm surviving. And Im pretty happy. Just kind of stressed.

I've taken a pretty (ok, very) easy schedule this year, because of having to work. People think its funny and will poke fun at my 'laziness' and yada-yada-yada ... but they don't know what its like at home. It's not bad, and again, could be A LOT worse. But, I cook and clean and work and drive. If I had trignometry & physics homework on top of all that, I'd be in a corner crying every day. 8 hours of school + 6 hours of work ... its stressful.

I also got my car back from the shop. i drive a little, green, '97 Jetta. She's my baby! A semi-truck backed into me, because he thought it was a good idea to STOP in the middle of a major road and back up because he 'didnt think he could make it under the bridge'. Yet, he had no warning lights or anything else. I tried getting around him and honking my horn obsessivley ... but to no avail. No one in the car was injured and I thought there was just cosmetic damage. However, turns out, he cracked my radiator making it leak. I was hit Wed and Friday morning, when driving to school, my car almost overheated. It was smoking and making funny gurgling sounds. NOT AMUSING. After 6 weeks of dealing with the semi-trucks insurance, we have finally had my car restored and returned without a penny. Just a lot of headaches. But, as I said, no one was injured and my car was not totalled. *whew*

I suppose this entry is rather long. Whoopsie.
Now for a run-down of my agenda that I'd like to do in the next few weeks ...
Christmas shopping
Buy an eliptical
and save up for a special present for my mommy. Im not going to say it here, because I'm pretty certain she's going to read this.
